Boat repair in Jupiter

Jupiter Boat Repair

Expert mobile marine mechanics serving Jupiter. Engine repair, electrical service, and preventive maintenance at your dock.

Jupiter has more registered boats per capita than anywhere else in Palm Beach County, and that concentration means local mechanics stay busy year-round. The Jupiter Inlet draws offshore anglers, sportfishers, and cruisers daily, and the Loxahatchee River adds another layer of freshwater and brackish boating traffic. Our mobile marine technicians serve every marina, canal, and boat ramp in Jupiter , from Jupiter Pointe Club to Burt Reynolds Park and the private docks in Admirals Cove and Jupiter Island. Call (305) 290-2701 and we'll come to your boat, not the other way around.

Outboard and Inboard Engine Repair

Jupiter's offshore sportfishing community puts serious hours on their motors. We specialize in outboard engine repair and full boat engine repair across all major manufacturers , Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, and Volvo Penta. Overheating at the inlet, fuel delivery failures on the way to the Gulf Stream, and impeller failures on the Loxahatchee are calls we handle every week. We carry common wear parts on the truck and can complete most repairs on the first visit, keeping your boat in the water instead of on a trailer.

Marine Electrical and Electronics

Jupiter boats are loaded with electronics , fishfinders, chartplotters, VHF, satellite systems, and autopilots. Our marine electricians handle full wiring inspections, battery bank replacements, and fault tracing on complex multi-system installs. We also do marine electronics installation for new units and upgrades, plus marine LED lighting installs for boats getting a night-fishing setup or a full refit. Corroded terminal blocks and chafed wiring are the most common electrical issues we find on Jupiter boats , salt air gets into everything.

Hull, Fiberglass, and Bottom Maintenance

Barnacle growth in Jupiter's tidal waters is aggressive, especially near the inlet where salinity and current fluctuate. Our boat bottom painting service keeps hulls clean and fuel-efficient through the season. For physical damage, we do fiberglass repair and boat gelcoat repair from dock dings and sandbar groundings , which happen more than most people admit at the Jupiter Inlet sandbar. We also offer boat detailing and boat cleaning to keep your boat looking sharp between service intervals.

Inspections, Scheduled Maintenance, and Upgrades

Many Jupiter boat owners run their vessels hard from January through April tournament season, then again in the fall. A proper boat inspection and 100-hour boat service between seasons keeps you off the side of the road during a trip that matters. We also handle boat propeller repair , grounding the prop on a sandbar at the inlet is almost a Jupiter rite of passage. Interior upgrades including SeaDek EVA flooring and marine upholstery are available for boats undergoing full refits.

Hurricane Prep, Trailer Service, and Nearby Coverage

When a named storm threatens Palm Beach County, our boat hurricane prep team helps Jupiter boaters secure, document, and protect their vessels before the weather arrives. We also cover boat trailer repair for boaters who use the Burt Reynolds Park ramp or trailer to Juno Beach. We serve neighboring areas including West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Boca Raton. Call (305) 290-2701 or contact us online to book service.

Neighborhoods We Serve

Boat Repair Across Jupiter

Jupiter Inlet Colony

Exclusive barrier island community directly adjacent to the Jupiter Inlet. Residents keep high-performance sportfishing boats and cruisers on private docks with direct ocean access.

Admirals Cove

Gated yacht club community with deep-water canals and marina facilities. Home to some of the largest private boats in Palm Beach County, from 40-foot sportfishers to 80-foot yachts.

Jupiter Island

Ultra-private barrier island with expansive waterfront estates and deep-water dockage on both the ICW and ocean sides. Boats here are maintained to a high standard year-round.

Tequesta

Riverside community along the Loxahatchee with a mix of freshwater and ICW boaters. Popular with anglers who run the river for snook and run the inlet for offshore species.

Local Challenges

Marine Challenges in Jupiter

Jupiter's Jupiter Inlet is one of the most heavily used inlets in Florida, and the tidal currents through the cut are strong and unpredictable. Boats that cross the bar daily accumulate running gear wear faster than marina-bound vessels, and prop strikes on the sandbars just inside the inlet are a regular occurrence even for experienced captains.

The Loxahatchee River presents a different challenge: tannin-stained freshwater mixes with saltwater in the lower reaches, and that brackish environment accelerates corrosion on outboard lower units, trim systems, and aluminum components. Boats that move between the river and the Atlantic need more frequent freshwater flushing and corrosion inspection than typical saltwater-only vessels.

Jupiter also sits in one of the most lightning-prone corridors in the United States. Boats left in the water during afternoon summer storms are at genuine risk of lightning strike damage to electronics, through-hulls, and electrical systems. We see a spike in electrical repair calls every July and August from boats that took indirect or direct hits.
